Shrink Wrap Film

Shrink Wrap is a versatile material made up of polymer plastic film. After heat is applied, it shrinks tightly over the product that it is covering. Heat can be applied to the film either by a heat gun or through a heat tunnel on a conveyor. It is used to stabilize items together, and it keeps products free of debris while providing a tamper-resistant barrier.

Shrink wrap is flexible, strong, recyclable, and can also be customized. There are three main types of films for shrink wrap: polyvinyl chloride (PV), polyolefin, and polyethylene. Each material has its own capabilities and characteristics that make it suited for specific applications. Shrink films can be formed into bags, overwrap, banding, and tubing.
